Ticked is a simple daily confirmation app for iOS and Android. This page explains what data the app does — and does not — collect.
Ticked does not require sign-up or an account. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us, beyond what's needed to process an optional Premium purchase — see Subscriptions & purchases below.
Everything you enter — the name of the item you're tracking, its category, and the timestamps of each time you log it — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded to a server and never leaves your device.
Ticked can send you optional reminder notifications at a time you choose. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not rely on any external push notification server.
Ticked offers an optional Premium subscription or one-time purchase. Purchases are handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to validate purchases and keep track of your Premium status. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier for your installation along with the purchase information needed to confirm your subscription — it does not receive the items, categories, or timestamps you track in the app. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for details on how they handle this information.
Ticked uses Google Fonts to render its interface. The first time a font is needed, your device may fetch the font file directly from Google's font delivery network. These are standard requests for font assets and do not include any personal information from within the app.
Ticked does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.
Ticked does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
